LITHUANIAN-POLISH MISSION - EXCHANGE OF GOOD PRACTICE IN BIOMASS ENERGY

UAB ENERSTENA participated in the event "Lithuanian-Polish Mission - Exchange of Good Practice in Biomass Energy", that was organized by Litbioma and World Biofuels Association (WBA) and took place on 4 June 2019 at the Polish Embassy in Vilnius.

Lithuania's experience in replacing fossil fuels with local biofuels was shared with the Polish guests by representatives of the Republic of Lithuania Ministry of Energy, WBA, LITBIOMA, BALTPOOL, and Danpower Baltic.

EQUIPMENT FROM ENERSTENA HAS REACHED POLAND

Main equipment manufactured by ENERSTENA group was delivered on 28th of March to the customer’s Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej w Łomży Sp. z o.o. (Lomza City Heat Energy Company) site in Lomza city, where construction works for expansion of the boiler house take place:

  • 12,50 MW water heating boiler;
  • 14,00 MW biomass burning furnace;
  • 3,00 MW condensing economizer.

We are glad that these pieces of equipment were delivered to the customer one month before the term provided in the contract!

THE CONSTRUCTION WORKS OF THE BOILER HOUSE EXTENSION STARTED IN POLAND

On 21st of March 2019, in order to commemorate the beginning of the construction works of the boiler house of Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej w Łomża Sp. z o.o. (Lomza City Heat Energy Company), we placed a symbolic capsule with a letter for future generations into the foundations of the furnace. Thanks to this project, Lomza (Łomża) city heat energy company boiler house will be equipped with a 12.50 MW water heating boiler fuelled by biomass, 3 MW condensing economizer and other technological equipment.

The project will be completed in October 2019.

ENERSTENA HAS IMPLEMENTED FLUE GAS CONDENSER (FGC) FOR NATURAL GAS BOILER PLANT

Enerstena has implemented another flue gas condenser (FGC) of 13 MW capacity for natural gas boiler plant, operated by Vilnius city district heating provider AB Vilniaus šilumos tinklai (VŠT).

Our implemented FGC will cut VŠT‘s annual gas consumption by 2,975 million Nm3, equivalent to 960.000 Eur per year. The investment in FGC will pay back in just 2.5 years.
